Just wanted to share a recent sandcarve engraved rock I did to give you some ideas. It’s a very simple idea that was given to someone with the last name “Rose” as a retirement gift. Apparently he enjoyed gardening and was something he looked forward to upon retirement.

I do both glass and stone but much more stone. I’d be happy to share some of the stone project pics but I’m not seeing a way to post them etc.
Jerry, that would be awesome if you can share them with us and we’ll feature you on the blog. You can reply to my emails with an attachment or upload them here: https://www.glassetchingsecrets.com/submit/submit-etching.php
Thank you
A fab example of what a professionally sandblasted rock can look like. I understand if you can’t answer this, but what did you charge? Patrick Chadwick, South Africa
Thank you Patrick. I didn’t do this project for hire. When I sandblasted with someone, I wasn’t involved in the pricing but if I recall correctly, something of this size might have been priced around $75
Very nice, what paint do you use?
Kim, the professional paint that is actually made for this is called Lithichrome.
But I have been using/testing Rustoleum Appliance Epoxy Paint for this project. Time will tell but I think this stuff is durable enough to last the test of time. To be safe though, if you are commercial doing it for hire, you may want to just use the pro stuff.
