About: Eric Robert

My Journey: When I first got into glass etching, I was most interested in the sandblasting process and was about to spend over $10,000 on equipment advertised by manufacturers. Just before I was about to make the irrationally quick decision, I decided to research other lower cost solutions and ended up piecing together a great setup for at least 90% less. My goal through our ebook and membership area is to provide this information so you too can save, while still etching like a pro. It is my aim that a small investment in this information will actually save you thousands.

Here is another glass etcher that I wanted to feature named Debbie D. Her ideas are unique which we don’t hear much about. She etched various sayings and sentences in glass. It reminds me when I etched this poem into a glass mug (warning, I used a poor camera to take the photo). Anyway, she

Fun recycled glass bottle project with no waste!

Posted on December 1, 2014 by Eric Robert Posted in Blog Content 6 Comments

This project was created because my breakfast restaurant needed some personalized cream containers for those who don’t want to use prepackaged creamers. I cut the bottles below the existing seam in the glass. When I created the containers, there was a part of the bottle left. It sure looked like a bell to me. By

A picture of me cleaning a stone sandcarving after it was blasted and painted..

I haven’t discussed rock carving much on this website, so I figured this post will share the idea and intrigue you. Some people call it rock sandblasting, rock sandcarving, rock engraving or even etching. The idea of this is to carve text, numbers, logos, or images permanently into a large rock or small stone.
