About
Glass Etching Secrets was started by me, Eric Robert in 2008. Although the art of glass etching and sandcarving is not technically a secret, it is a lesser known craft and a highly desirable skill leaving many people wondering how it’s done.
My site is intended to share information on how to etch glass with various processes and discuss my cost-saving advice on how to get started with your own system inexpensively. Traditionally, equipment prices especially for sandblast etching, were very expensive so it was hard for the small business to get started. My goal is to help you get a decent setup for a lower price tag whether you are doing it for a hobby or as a small business idea. Sometimes I term this information alone my so-called “secrets” just because it isn’t widely known.
